Destination Delano is an annual pilgrimage in which we pay homage to Larry Itliong & AWOC (AFL-CIO) that engages Filipinos in the U.S. with our history and legacy of Filipino Americans.
The weekend event brings Filipino Americans together for a weekend of community building and political strategy with an expert panel to discuss the role of Filipinos in the Farmworkers movement at US labor history, a tour of Delano's historical sites, caucus spaces, and guest speakers and performances.
A primary aim is to gain national recognition for Delano as a historical site because of it's significance in the Farmworker's movement. Get involved in getting a historical marker in Delano for the Filipino American community!
